UFLI Foundations: A Systematic Program for Building Reading Skills


UFLI Foundations is a research-based program designed to teach students the foundational skills necessary for proficient reading.

Starting UFLI

  1. Begin by using the Quick Phonics Screener to see where your child needs to start instruction. Alternatively, you can start at the beginning and move through each lesson in order.

2.       Order the UFLI manual

3.       Explore the free online materials. They have a decodable text decodable text and a game for all the lessons. In addition, they have an easy-to-use game generator that you could use instead of roll and read.

 Phonics for Reading: Building Confidence and Skills for Older Students
