Here's a fun letter sound recognition game to play on this cold morning: Beginning Sound Egg Hunt
For this game, choose four (4) to six (6) letters your child is currently working on learning. Place the magnetic letters into bowls or a small bin.
Find objects around your house that begin with that sound. Place the objects in Easter eggs, or if the object is too big for an egg, you can hide the object.
Send your child around the house looking for eggs or hidden objects.
Once the objects are found, sort them by beginning sound.

Ask your child to say "hat" and ask which letter hat starts with.
Then, ask your child to place the object (hat) into the correct letter bowl.
